TSYS seeks an Software Developer Lead for its Alpharetta, GA office.
Duties: Work directly with a variety of teams to include system administrators, application developers, business analysts, and database developers to design and develop systems and architecture in an iterative, continuous fashion. These include: responsive, multi-tenant web/mobile applications; large scale, high availability transaction processing systems; highly available integrations with a wide variety of 3rd party systems; and multi-node, concurrent batch processing systems. Design and build the following: automated application infrastructure solutions to analyze, compile, configure and deploy to various environments; SAAS oriented self service solutions for clients and client administrators; and flexible (but not brittle) configuration architecture at all levels of the solution. Mentor and guide developers by assisting other developers across team in platform technologies, development standards and project execution, reviewing application code to ensure compliance with project goals and consistency within the platform, and leveraging efficiencies in the tools and standardizing developer workspaces and other tasks.
Requirements: Requires at least a Bachelors degree in CS, Engineering or related field and five years of experience in the position offered or related position. Experience must include the following experience and skills: experience with a scripting language such as ruby, groovy, javascript, JQuery,Bootstrap, Angular.js ember.js, or python; significant experience with an app platform & language such as Java/JVM, Spring, JBoss, or Tomcat; deep understanding of browser, mobile device and web interface technologies such as HTML5, CSS 3, LESS, Javascript, or web templating languages; knowledge of the details of the HTTP protocol and Integration protocols such as REST or SOAP; knowledge of databases and ability to navigate schemas and tables using SQL; automated test tool and language such as JBehave, Cucumber, JMeter, or Selenium; and experience building and scaling applications to perform to mobile devices.
