Evaluates total loss personal property inventories for replacement cost accuracy in accordance with client specifications to satisfy both the client and policyholder.
The pricing analyst evaluates both the replacement cost and the actual cost value for each item of the inventory while accounting for item depreciation.
Pricing analysts are also available for post claim support if, and when, the client adjuster or policyholder requests it.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Research total loss contents inventories for both replacement cost value and actual cash value, using real-world actual replacements of LKQ (like kind and quality).
Utilizes local brick & mortar stores as well as relevant websites for more accurate replacement pricing rather than generic/blanket costs.
Accurately depreciates items according to the depreciation rates agreed on Post claim support:
Able to update claims based on client adjuster instruction.
Post claim support:
Can calculate recoverable depreciation in the case that the policyholder submits replacement receipts.
Effectively communicate directly with the adjuster or policyholder for any further inquiries or disputes.
Ensures that standardized processes are followed.
Conducts file reviews to ensure compliance to standardized service delivery expectations Establishes, develops, maintains, and updates records system for the company and customers Corresponds with internal and external customers while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and data integrity
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field of study or equivalent work experience, considered 1
years of Insurance industry experience, required Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Strong customer service skills and problem-solving skills Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task and adapt to changing environments Strong analytical skills for identifying trends and market data Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to adjust and interact with all levels of personnel and customers Professional written and oral communication skills Strong attention to detail while remaining accurate in the analysis of large collections of data Effective in establishing priorities, meeting deadlines, achieving goals, organizing and taking pride in their work Minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute with accuracy.
Preferences:
Experience with Xactimate and Corelogic is preferred, not required Work Schedule:
Full-Time, Non-Exempt position 8 - 5 Monday through Friday or as determined by hiring manager.
Work is performed in hybrid model split between time in office and remote.
Schedule may change according to business operational needs
