Johns Creek, GA Johns Creek, GA Part-time Full-time Part-time Full-time $15 - $17 an hour $15 - $17 an hour 1 hour ago 1 hour ago 1 hour ago Memory Center seeking an activities/assistant, supervised by our Activities Director, to help plan and implement programs that include arts, crafts, music, exercise and games for our residents in our memory care assisted living community! Musical talent would be a welcomed trait.
Responsibilities:
? Implements the activities using creativity and available resources.
? Posts calendar events for the community as needed.
? Implementation of appropriate activities as they relate to the physical, emotional and social needs of the individual residents.
? Conducts outside trips, in-house activities and full use of TMC Town Center ? Promotes participation and resident interaction.
? Follows monthly calendar for scheduled activities ? Assists with supervising community volunteers ? Ensures activity areas are well maintained and other duties assigned by the Activities or Executive Director.
Qualifications:
? Ability to demonstrate effective resident socialization ? Ability to utilize and apply basic time management principles ? Must be able to maintain accurate records ? Must be able to communicate well, verbally and written ? Adhere to and communicate community policy and procedures ? Understanding Memory Care/ Assisted Living ? Knowledge of regulations affecting resident activities ? Valid driver's license ? Must be able to work weekends ? Computer skills.
