Insight Global is looking for a Chemical Production Engineer for a large Carbon Fiber manufacturing client sitting in Augusta, GA.
This person will be ensuring safe operations by identifying and resolving unsafe acts and conditions within the unit, support running EPOs to qualify the new products, resolve operational difficulties and provide technical problem solving capability to eliminate production of nonconforming materials.
They will de-bottleneck production to increase run rates and achieve targeted production costs, develop and implement capital projects (as assigned) to support improvements.
They will manage the rework process for non-conforming, aged (slow moving) and/or obsolete materials.
They will be drafting/ reviewing new unit MIs to provide clear and concise instructions for the safe operation of the new equipment.
This person will track KPIs and quality metrics.
They will work alongside the maintenance supervisor to support elimination of reoccurring equipment problems.
This person will be reporting to the Unit Manager who reports to the Operations Manager.
- 3-5 years experience in a Chemical Engineer role / Process (or Production) Engineer role- All experience must be in a chemical facility/ oil or gas/ or paper industry - Chemical Engineering Degree- Excellent problem solving experience - Working knowledge of SAP- Experience sizing heat exchangers/ pumps/ distillation column troubleshooting Recommended Skills Chemical Engineering Distillation Heat Exchanger Maintenance Metrics Problem Solving Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
