About the job:
The Sr.
Events Specialist is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing events (e.
g.
, trade shows, conventions, meetings) for internal and/or external clients.
This role will be responsible for specific events in which they will own all aspects of event logistics end-to-end and will collaborate with colleagues on other events.
This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic, high performing marketing team supporting a high-growth advanced analytics and data technology business to promote solutions that improve and protect lives.
The successful candidate will work closely with team members to manage the entire event lifecycle, from invitations and registration, venue research and booking to budgeting and event performance.
This role will collaborate closely with stakeholders across functional areas to achieve revenue and profit targets for assigned solutions.
You'll be responsible for:
Organizing and execute event deliverables and tactics, specifically as it relates to participation in external trade shows and conventions.
Collaborating with stakeholders to analyze event marketing effectiveness versus objectives.
Offering innovative ideas, strategies and approaches and continuous process improvement.
Managing, influence and communicate about event budgets and work with marketing partners to track and analyze.
Reporting marketing results per initiative and across the team for each event.
Demonstrating professionalism and high ethical standards as a representative for the brand and the marketing department with both external and internal stakeholders.
Working independently to meet deadlines while coordinating with and soliciting input on materials from colleagues.
Qualifications 4-year college degree preferably in Marketing or Business A minimum of 2-5 year's event experience required; tradeshow experience highly preferred.
Ability to travel, up to 25% of time.
Strong experience with event management tools, such as Cvent, SmartSheet, event management software helpful to role Highly competent in project management and organization with ability to handle multiple projects/deadlines.
Strong attention to detail.
Critical thinker and problem solver.
Influential communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in working in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders and partners.
Self-starter and passionate with strong bias towards driving results.
