You will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most skilled clinicians in Atlanta, contributing to our mission of helping individuals find their highest selves.They are a leading behavioral health practice in Atlanta, dedicated to providing trauma resolution-based Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services for individuals struggling with primary substance use disorder. This role offers a flexible 30 hour/week schedule and competitive compensation along with comprehensive benefits.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of clients in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs, incorporating evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care principles. Prescribe and manage medication-assisted treatment (MAT) as appropriate, in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies. Provide ongoing monitoring and follow-up care to ensure the effectiveness of treatment interventions and medication management. Collaborate with therapists, counselors, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes. Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and clinical supervision sessions to review cases, discuss treatment strategies, and contribute to the overall quality of care. Act as a resource and advocate for clients and their families, providing education and support to promote recovery and wellness. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other clinical records in accordance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution. Current unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Georgia. Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) preferred. Experience working in behavioral health or addiction medicine preferred. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to formulate accurate differential diagnoses and treatment plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients and colleagues. Commitment to providing culturally competent and trauma-informed care to individuals from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) documentation and Microsoft Office applications.
