Senior Software Engineer
Position Description
Responsible for development, designing, testing, coding and integrating software products. Provides support to and works alongside other engineers to create innovative products. Works to identify and implement testing application and service that best prepare the company to meet future business goals. Specific duties include:
(1) Utilize technical knowledge to write and complete software tasks and projects;
(2) Research new technologies and incorporate them into new systems and products;
(3) Lead projects, delegate responsibilities, and collaborate with others;
(4) Test, integrate, write, troubleshoot, and debug software applications;
(5) Responsible for the architecture and implementation of critical software components and games;
(6) Use company standards and apply design principals and patterns to develop robust software;
(7) Work closely with other engineers to provide guidance and assistance in the areas of software architecture, coding standards, and system related issues; and
(8) Act as team mentor in a multi-person development team.
Position Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems (or Foreign Equivalent), plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or as Graduate Engineer Trainee; Associate Software Analyst; Software Analyst; or Senior Software Analyst. Must have 5 years of experience (may be gained concurrently with the experience above) with the following:
(1) Microsoft.NET Technologies Such as C#.Net, Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation;
(2) C, C+
Java, J2EE programming;
(3) Microsoft SQLSERVER, Oracle data bases, software development life cycle;
(4) Design and development of progressives and jackpots for casinos through bonus systems; and
(5) Applying mathematical solutions to the needs of casino systems, performing white box and performance testing.
