Position Summary The Senior Manager, Global Compensation serves as a compensation expert for Scientific Games, and manages project work related to the development, implementation and administration of compensation policies and programs globally. This role is responsible for overseeing key compensation processes such as merit increases, annual bonus plans, job leveling, compensation reviews, and the development of pay recommendations. The Senior Manager, Global Compensation also:
administers the Company's equity compensation plans; provides business partners with advice regarding matters of compensation; advises management on policy interpretation; and otherwise responds to compensation-related issues and inquiries throughout the business. The position is highly collaborative with HRIS, Legal and Finance, in particular with respect to supporting the recordkeeping, accounting and public reporting of compensation. Conduct or manage participation in compensation surveys. Monitor accounting, tax and other compensation related laws, regulations and trends to ensure compensation decisions are fully informed. Other duties as assigned Education Bachelor's Degree in human resources, finance, economics, mathematics or other related fields. Years of Related Experience Must possess a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the following:
Working in a publicly-traded, data-driven corporate environment and/or in compensation consulting. Leading compensation decisions through a combination of data analytics and the application of business acumen. Compensation program design and the development of annual cash and long-term equity incentive plans. Competitive pay review and benchmarking leveraging multiple survey data resources, proxy-disclosed executive pay data, and internal pay information. Development of salary structures, organization band/levels, and short and long-term incentive frameworks. Administration of multiple, complex compensation programs (promotions, merit increases, bonus, etc.). Annual proxy disclosures, including the composition of the Compensation Discussion & Analysis and population of required compensation tables. Preferred
Experience:
Combined background in both corporate and consulting environments. Has or is working towards a PHR or CCP designation. Familiarity with Workday, Oracle or other HRIS systems. Familiarity with equity management systems (Fidelity, Merrill Lynch, etc.) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Strong understanding of compensation benchmarking and incentive design practices, particularly at the executive level. Strong understanding of equity compensation vehicles (stock options, restricted stock, RSUs, etc.), including accounting practices and design best practices. Ability to provide both quantitative and qualitative rationale for key compensation proposals. Knowledge of compensation reporting requirements. Familiarity with finance and accounting concepts, including an understanding of metrics on the income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Aptitude and passion for mathematics, statistics, data reporting and analysis. Collaborative and team-oriented approach to work Ability to listen actively and communicate effectively under stressful situations. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
