Position Summary The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for Scientific Games corporate telephony and networks to include documentation, implementation, solution engineering, after hours support and mentoring of junior engineers. Essential Job Functions:
Must possess current certifications in Cisco Routing and Switching, Cisco Telephony systems, Citrix Load Balancers, Pulse Secure Remote Access, and Palo Alto Firewalls or equivalent network expertise required. Perform troubleshooting and support for SG Corporate networks. Performs network maintenance and upgrades as required Implement, maintain, and support Managed Services Operations Manager Plus (SNMP) and Solarwinds monitoring alert thresholds for routers, switches, and firewalls. Troubleshoots and resolves network WAN outages and escalates with telecommunication providers as needed Troubleshoot and support firewall configuration issues and apply firewall rule change requests Analyzes firewall rules and alerts for intrusions and attacks Researches, resolves and documents Syslog generated error messages Strong communications skills both written and verbal Strong analytical skills Must possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision Provides mentoring and training to the other network engineers Provides 24/7 on call support on a rotational basis Other tasks as assigned Additional Job Description
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
System & Network Administration, Systems Architecture & EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
