This is a Hybrid position within our IT Organization. The role will allow employees to work offsite but will also require onsite work based on business needs. The selected candidate will be expected to commute to the innovation center to which they are assigned as their primary GM facility. Relocation may be provided. Responsibilities:
The role is for a Data Architect supporting projects in a large and complex datahub Ability to comprehend and apply Data Architecture Standards and design patterns Participate in data model reviews and ensure the models work efficiently and comply with the standards & policies Communicate and maintains Master Data, Metadata, Data Management Repositories, Logical Data Models, Data Standards Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture, create high-level data flow diagrams and low-level designs documents You will assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirement You will identify, design, and implement internal process improvements:
automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. Build industrialized analytic datasets and delivery mechanisms that utilize the data pipeline to deliver actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics Work with business partners on data-related technical issues and develop requirements to support their data needs Create highly consistent and accurate analytic datasets suitable for business intelligence and data scientist team members Additional Description
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of data modeling experience You have mastery with databases - Advanced SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Oracle Experience with data profiling, cleansing, and conforming rules Strong working experience in interpreting business requirements for 'data' Experience creating SQL queries to perform data profiling and determine cleansing and conforming requirements Ability to tackle problems quickly and completely Ability to identify tasks which require automation and automate them A demonstrable understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts At least 3 years of experience working on a datahub environment Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment Experience with ERWIN model Preferred
Qualifications:
Data Integration platforms, tools and techniques like DataStage, Spark, Informatica, Ab Initio, and other Big Data Technologies - Hadoop, Hive, & Spark etc. Experience working with reporting technologies - Cognos, Power BI , Tableau Development experience using RDBMS -Oracle, SQL Server, and PostGreSQL(optional) SQL & PL/SQL, Python/Unix Scripting Data pipeline and workflow management tools:
Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow, etc. AWS cloud services:
EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift Stream-processing systems:

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Data Science & Machine Learning, Systems Architecture & EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
