Full-time 1 hour ago Full Job Description Driver Johns Creek, GA - Vineyard Johns Creek Description Responsible for implementing aspects of the community's activities philosophy through interaction with residents, presenting classes and instruction, coordinating events, and assisting with transportation as needed.
Requirements Essential Job Functions:
Assists with programming.
Drive residents off-site to appointments and activities Approach all encounters with residents and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner Monitor residents' well-being in a general way Report any changes in the condition of a resident to supervisor immediately Assist residents with requests as needed or find appropriate employee to assist Look for opportunities to exceed resident expectations and enhance resident satisfaction Implement a variety of group and individual activities programs that meet the varying needs of the residents and staff Assist life enrichment director to present programs that meet the needs of the residents and staff Promote resident attendance and participation in all activity's programs Teach and instruct classes as appropriate Respond to residents individually to meet their activities needs based on activity level, acuity, interests, and feedback Monitor residents' participation and activity levels and provide feedback to the Life enrichment director as needed Work with volunteers and community groups as needed to implement various programs and events Assist in setting up/tearing down activities and community events as needed Perform function ability assessments and quality of life indexes for participants, as requested Assist with scheduling transportation as required Support open and honest communication with and between all employees Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working Look for ways to reduce costs and create efficiencies daily Ensure regulatory compliance and report any issues or concerns immediately Support continuous improvement Comply with Valeo Senior standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient community operations Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required

Experience leading exercise classes and assisting with exercise equipment required.
Special Requirements/Certifications:
Valid driver's license and proof of good driving record Commercial Driver's License or ability to obtain within reasonable time of employment (as required) First Aid Certification Intermediate level Microsoft Office Skills Working Conditions:
On the job the employee will work predominately in an environmentally controlled community living facility with most of the time being spent in the Activities Center and/or common areas of the community.
Due to the nature of the job, the employee may be exposed to working conditions typically found in other departmental areas such as dining services or maintenance.
Occasionally, the employee may tour and/or work in parts of the community that will require walking moderate distances and climbing stairs.
Some exposure to noise may exist such as:
vacuums, washing machines and dryers, telephones, copy/fax machines, cooling fans, piped in music, televisions, etc.
