2K a year Job description Maxwell-Reddick and Associates is a highly respected Civil Engineering and Surveying firm in Georgia focusing on residential and commercial land development.
Our goal is to provide the highest quality surveys and engineering designs while also meeting the needs and goals of our clients.
We are seeking a new team member to work in our Alpharetta, Georgia, office to help expedite property research and development permitting.
Role:
This position is primarily responsible for performing property research and due diligence to determine if properties in the Metro Atlanta area meet our client's requirements for development.
The position will involve online research, reviewing property documents, in-person discussions and meetings with local government officials, and compiling all relevant information into a report format.
The objective is to identify any conditions inhibiting a property's successful development and determine the local jurisdiction's permitting requirements and entitlement processes.
This position will also assist with preparing and submitting various applications to local government review agencies for review.
Job
Responsibilities:
Meet with team members, clients, and government officials regularly.
The candidate will directly represent Maxwell-Reddick in person, on video conferences, and on the phone in many instances.
Assist engineering and surveying staff in performing property research.
This research will include online zoning & development code review, deed and plat research, determining permitting requirements and timeframes, researching public utility systems, and reviewing other available information.
Organize the gathered information into a report format that communicates the requirements and constraints of the subject property to our engineering teams and clients.
Assist with preparing various permitting applications and submittal packages for submission to the local City and County agencies for review.
Track the review and permitting progress of multiple projects and provide regular updates on the status, including resubmittals and final approval of the permits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is required.
Outstanding communication skills and a focus on customer service A highly motivated individual who works well with deadlines and in a team environment Good interpersonal skills and a high comfort level in attending in-person meetings with local government officials Strong organizational skills Ability to understand new things quickly Able to manage multiple projects in a professional manner Proficient with Microsoft Office Able to perform online research.
