Development Accountant - Hybrid Remote
Immediate need for a Real Estate / Development Accountant to join a thriving Real Estate Developer of Mixed Use Communities based in Alpharetta, GA.
This is a perfect role for someone experienced who wants to manage their own schedule with limited requirements for in office work.
What You'll Do Help prepare, maintain and monitor budgets through our Yardi accounting system Prepare Draw Requests Prepare and maintain prepaid / accrual schedules Reconcile and review general ledger accounts and assist with financial statement preparation Manage and forecast cash for vendor payments, including obtaining proper approvals and documentation Manage corporate fixed assets and depreciation in compliance with external tax accountants Prepare and enter monthly journal entries as part of closing out financial periods Complete bank reconciliations on a monthly basis for all entities managed Assist with internal corporate billings and collections Assist with the preparation of annual tax returns and financial audits Be able to understand intercompany transactions where there is a parent entity and subsidiaries in order to efficiently transfer cash and costs among those entities Ability to read and understand Operating Agreements and Management Agreements for billing structures Reconcile corporate credit card reports Prepare and process distribution calculations Prepare member loan interest calculations Process capital contributions How We Put You First:

years of accounting experience is ideal.
Commercial real estate accounting with experience doing Draw Requests Required Excellent analytical skills Proficient with Microsoft and Google applications Knowledge of Yardi software also a plus Advanced Excel skills Recommended Skills Analytical Billing Calculations Finance Financial Management Forecasting Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
