Responsibilities:
Facilitate the Agile/Scrum process for one or more software development teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles, practices, and ceremonies.
Coach and mentor the team on Agile values, principles, and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Guide the team in self-organizing and cross-functional collaboration, encouraging ownership and accountability for the delivery of high-quality software.
Facilitate the team's planning, refinement, and estimation activities, ensuring that user stories are well-defined, estimated, and prioritized.
Protect the team from external distractions and remove any impediments or obstacles that may hinder their progress.
Conduct daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, fostering transparency, open communication, and continuous learning.
Collaborate with the product owner to ensure that the product backlog is well-groomed, prioritized, and reflects the team's capacity and capability.
Monitor and track the team's progress, ensuring that the sprint goals and commitments are met and that the team is delivering value to stakeholders.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the development team and stakeholders, fostering a shared understanding of goals, priorities, and requirements.
Continuously assess and improve the team's Agile practices, identifying opportunities for process improvement and helping the team adapt to changing circumstances.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience).
Certification as a Scrum Master (e.
g.
, Certified Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Master) is highly desirable.
Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, working with software development teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Strong understanding of Agile principles, values, and practices, with practical experience in applying Scrum methodologies.
Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead meetings and workshops and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment, promoting trust, openness, and accountability.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to address issues and remove obstacles to ensure team productivity and success.
Experience with Agile project management tools (e.
g.
, JIRA, Trello) and practices for tracking and reporting team progress.
Knowledge of other Agile frameworks (e.
g.
, Kanban, Lean) and software development methodologies is a plus.
Continuous learning mindset and a passion for staying up-to-date with emerging Agile practices and trends.
