Net Developer to join their Software Development Support Team! This team supports different lottery jurisdictions around the country to maintain game management system (GMS) products as well as new development for game additions and features.
This individual will be doing heavy work in the company's database (SQL Server -- Enterprise) and their game management system (web application based in ASP.
Net & C# interacting with Javascript).
The ideal candidate should possess strong SQL Server skills and should have experience enhancing SQL Server database structure, working in and out of main tables, doing table clean up or updates, working with indexes and triggers.
On the game management system side, the ideal candidate should have strong ASP.
Net & C# engineering skills with the ability to design code from scratch as well as debug existing code.
The Developer will be responsible for writing and enhancing stored procedures, writing crystal and ad hoc reports.
The Developer will need to be able to work both independently and as part of a team that works on complex systems with engineering challenges.
The domain will be a MS SQL server that is a foundation for ASP.
net web pages and SSRS reports that help Lottery's and its retails with reporting and configuration of their systems and their sales.
Operations teams will depend on the software the Developer will write and maintain.
The day-to-day job is to implement changes, support production, analyze data and ways to report on it and design, estimate and develop new features.
