Accounts Payable Manager

About the RoleClearStar is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to provide strong leadership of our Accounts Payable Department and to ensure the department runs efficiently.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of industry experience and have a record of optimizing department processes.
Excellent leadership and communication skills are required of the candidate to build relationships with internal and external members.
A summary of responsibilities include maintaining accurate vendor records, ensuring timely processing of vendor payments, and managing a team of three staff members.

ResponsibilitiesLead, supervise, mentor, train and evaluate the work of the Accounts Payable (AP) Team of three.
This includes approval of time sheets.
Ensure invoices are approved on time throughout the organization within AP's invoicing platform, Stampli.
Perform ongoing review of expenses posted in NetSuite to ensure accurate coding of AP invoices.
Assist the AP team as needed to resolve discrepancies and accurately reflect the adjustments in NetSuite and StampliManage 1099 process and ensure on-time annual filing.
Manage both company virtual card and employee reimbursement processes.
Coordinate month-end and year-end AP closing activities to ensure on-time reporting.
Build and maintain relationships to support internal teams, external auditors, and vendors.
Perform ad-hoc reporting, additional duties, and other tasks as assigned.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree with concentration in Accounting, Finance, or related field5
years of industry experiencAdvanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP)Experience with NetSuite, Stampli, and Expensify is a plus.
Ability to quickly adapt and multi-task in a rapidly changing environment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
