Position Profile:
The Architectural Revit Project Coordinator is responsible for the architectural drafting needs for multiple divisional projects within the Architectural Department of Ashton Woods Corporate office.
The position will work with Revit system, creating, modifying and maintaining residential construction documents.
Additionally, the job requires the coordination of outsource drafting services to complete projects on time and on budget.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
(Included but not limited to) Responsible for the production workflow of multiple drawings and projects at the same time from various Divisions.
Responsible for reviewing projects and creating dwf redlines for various projects.
Responsible for the creating & coordination of single-family lot starts & multi-family bldg.
assemblies as needed for permits for all Divisions.
Responsible for managing the workflow from outside consultants back to Corporate in an on-time and accurate manner.
Responsible for plan revisions, creating new product (DD/CDs), maintaining construction documents.
Assist in Quality Control review process of outsource product development for all phases of production.
Review and correct plans as needed required by Problem Area Reports (PARs).
Self-check own work for completeness, accuracy and meeting company standards.
Work with conceptual sketches and scanned images from design team.
Must be self-motivated and able to manage workflow for the week by oneself.
Other projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education:
Associate degree or equivalent work experience (2-4yrs) Must be detailed oriented and experienced with working in a challenging, fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
Proficient in Revit with general knowledge of residential construction.
Ability to work with limited supervision, timely completion of projects, makes time for unplanned assignments, adapts to changing priorities.
Respects all members; solicits other's opinions; supports and complies with team decisions; share useful information.
Ability to adapt in a changing workplace and work with limited supervision.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
2-4 years of experience in residential architectural production required.
Skills and Knowledge:
Proficient in Revit with knowledge of residential construction.
Knowledgeable about the construction industry, including construction cost, building codes, materials, products, methods and procedures.
Ability to read blueprints, construction drawings and addendums as required.
Must be able to use word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, presentation (PowerPoint), database and newsletter (Adobe) software for advanced internal and external communications.
Ability to review, analyze and interpret information as well as trouble-shoot to solve problems.
Knowledge of business English and ability to communicate patiently and professionally with both internal and external customers both orally and in writing.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize several tasks without compromising quality of work or mission deadlines.
Ability to adapt in a changing workplace.
Computer literacy, proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and ability to learn new programs as needed.
Proven organization skills in a high paced work environment.
Working Conditions:
Work is generally performed in a typical office environment using standard office equipment.
Work is typically sedentary in nature, but some walking and standing maybe required.
Fast paced environment subject to numerous schedule and priority change and short notice activity.
