Description:
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage RMI and CM projects by interfacing and coordinating between customers, purchasing, materials, production, quality, regulatory, and engineering.
Analyze existing equipment and manufacturing processes and offer continuous improvement conceptual planning and implementation activities.
Troubleshoot existing production requests and assist with the R&D efforts of RMI and Contract Manufacturing (CM) productsWrite technical reports and documentation (i.
e.
, Design History, Risk Management, Product Realization Files, Mold Verifications and Product/Process Validations).
Implement new technologies and processes to expand manufacturing capabilities.
Perform engineering analysis on RMI and CM products.
Manage multiple concurrent projects with competing resources and timelines.
Update and maintain engineering drawings and documentation.
Adhere to and ensure compliance with Quality System SOPs, work instructions, drawings, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), ISO, and FDA requirements.
Provide Training to other team members as needed.
Requirements:
BS degree in Engineering (or related discipline) or education/experience equivalency preferred; Professional Project Management training required w/o bachelor's degree6
years of related project management experience preferably in medical device or other FDA regulated industry.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing resources and timelines.
Strong knowledge of product life cycle processes/protocols, injection molding products/equipment/processes, electrical systems, mechanical and hydraulic application, and lean manufacturing.
Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, and MS Project.
Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
