As a Project Manager with a focus on controls engineering, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing projects from inception to completion.
Your expertise in project management, coupled with your technical background, will ensure the successful delivery of projects that align with our clients' needs and expectations.
This role requires a strong understanding of controls engineering principles, project management best practices, and effective communication skills.
Key
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
Controls Engineering Expertise:
Apply your technical knowledge in controls engineering to understand project requirements and challenges.
Collaborate with engineering teams to address technical issues and ensure alignment with project goals.
Stakeholder Management:
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements and expectations.
Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
Proactively address issues to ensure the smooth flow of project activities.
Quality Assurance:
Implement quality assurance processes to deliver projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
Conduct thorough project reviews to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
PMP certification is required.
Bachelor's degree in Controls Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in project management, particularly in controls engineering projects.
Strong understanding of controls engineering principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work onsite in Alpharetta, GA, 3 times per week.
