Multi-Cloud Manager
We are seeking a talented and experienced Cloud Solutions Engineer with a focus on multi-cloud management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions within the Google Cloud Platform environment.
Additionally, expertise in providing support for AWS Cloud environments is crucial.
Key
Responsibilities:
Google Cloud Platform Expertise:
Demonstrate a deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform services and possess hands-on experience in engineering and implementing solutions on the Google Cloud Platform platform.
Networking Proficiency:
Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols, including IP subnetting, routing, firewall rules, Virtual Private Cloud, LoadBalancer, Cloud DNS, and Cloud CDN.
AWS Support:
Provide troubleshooting, support, and maintenance for AWS instances, addressing performance degradation, and resolving time-critical incidents.
OS Compliance and Patching:
Ensure compliance and timely patching for Windows, Linux, and Virtualization Platforms.
Multi-Cloud Deployment:
Support and maintain both private and public cloud deployments, ensuring seamless integration and performance across platforms.
Infrastructure Provisioning:
Hands-on experience in building and provisioning customer environments on AWS and virtual infrastructure.
Capacity Planning:
Actively participate in capacity planning and contribute to the development of long-term scalability and reliability goals for the cloud platforms.
Incident Management:
Participate in incident management and communications, including post-mortem analysis and process improvement initiatives in collaboration with other team leads.
Environment Optimization:
Continuously recommend and implement improvements to the cloud environment to enhance performance, uptime, and incident avoidance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in multi-cloud management, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform and AWS.
Strong knowledge of networking principles and cloud services.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving time-sensitive incidents.
Experience in capacity planning and performance optimization.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
