Senior Financial Analyst

Job SummaryReporting directly to the CFO, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and supporting executive decision-making at Mark Spain Real Estate.
This role will be primarily focused on financial analysis, budgeting, operational KPI analysis and the creation of data-driven insights using dashboards and data visualization.
You will work closely with various departments to provide actionable recommendations and support the achievement of our financial and operational goals.
This position is hybrid and will report to our headquarter office in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Essential Functions1.
Data Visualization and Reporting:
- Drive consistent measurement and definitions of core KPIs across the business to ensure allleaders throughout the business are relying on the same set of facts and referencing one source oftruth- Design and maintain financial and operational reports for stakeholders- Develop a new suite of reporting for the company's ancillary business models (title insurance, mortgage, etc), as well as a consolidated reporting package that summarizes results for the Board- Utilize Qlik and other data visualization tools to create insightful and interactive dashboards- Develop dashboards that enable the executive team and board of directors to quickly understandbusiness performance across all key metrics in real time- Partner with the CFO and tech team to ensure strong data governance is in place at all times2.
Financial and Operational Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess the company's financial health and performance- Evaluate and report on key financial and operational KPIs to support decision-making- Create ad-hoc analysis as needed based on requests from executive leadership3.
Financial Modeling:
- Build and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives and scenario planning4.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop, manage, and analyze annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with departmentheads- Contribute to the creation of a streamlined budgeting model which factors in all relevant businessdrivers and enables scenario analysis- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis to identify areas of improvement5.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, understand business processes, andprovide financial insights6.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the enhancement of financial reportingand analysis processes.
Knowledge and Skills- Advanced Excel skills and experience with complex financial modeling- Strong proficiency with creating dashboards and data visualization Qlik or similar business intelligencetools- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities- Strong communication and presentation skills- Ability to analyze complex data sets and identify key takeaways, in some cases with limited direction- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracyRange of Experience- 5

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
