The Lead Business Intelligence Analyst role will support the development of strategic analytic solutions focusing primarily on enterprise Financial Data Product Solutions.
Our team applies various analytics methodologies to interdisciplinary business problems across Finance, Operations, Accounting, & Supply Chain.
This position will work closely with other analytics team members on strategic in-flight use cases around financial reporting and working capital management.
The position s objectives are:
Lead development of executive reporting dashboards, reports, and analysis Maintain and improve existing data models, reports, and dashboards Perform financial analysis to address targeted business questions regarding working capital The candidate should possess the ability to perform statistical modelling techniques and derive business insights that are required to drive analytic innovation at McKesson.
The candidate should also be an active learner able to grasp and apply new analytic approaches.
Position Description The purpose of this position is meant to aid in the implementation of analytic solutions, as well as make significant improvements to existing solutions.
Analytic Responsibilities Create PowerBI / Tableau Dashboards that drive financial insights Support Enterprise and Business Unit Finance team s need for statistical modelling and financial analysis Fully automate existing analytics solutions Assist in deploying statistical models / automation products in production on the cloud Other Responsibilities Support stakeholders analytic needs, gather user requirements, help drive adoption Cultivate business development opportunities Assist in developing and maintaining long-term stakeholder relationships and networks Minimum Requirements
Experience:

years analytics / programming experience Education:
BA or BS degree in a technical field such as:
Economics, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics.
Critical Skills Demonstrated understanding of financial statement analysis and cost accounting principles Expert data visualization skills (PowerBI, Tableau) Demonstrated experience with enterprise data, especially ERP systems (SAP, JD Edwards) Knowledge of relational databases (e.
g.
MS SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle) Demonstrated ability to tackle problems across the full data stack, from data wrangling (leveraging SQL or other methodologies) to stakeholder consumption at scale Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences Additional Knowledge & Skills Analysis/Process Thinking Team player Strong verbal and written communication Knowledge of / interest in foundational analytical methods and models Knowledge of cloud computing platforms is a plus (e.
