The M&A Partner, Data & Analytics will be responsible for leading M&A, partnership and strategic investment strategy and ensuring execution through creative thought leadership, complex problem solving and advocating for customer needs. This individual will define market provider landscape, develop candidate pipeline criteria and manage pipeline activity, with specific focus on unique data assets and emerging analytical capabilities. In addition, he/she will lead initial discussions with acquisition and partner candidates and connect candidates to relevant Equifax groups for detailed evaluation, creating opportunity business cases to support recommendations. The M&A Partner will maintain strong partnership with Corporate Development on pipeline management, ensure proper analysis of acquisition candidates and oversee partner management and interaction with Data and Analytics.

Responsibilities include:
Initial assessment of targets/acquisition candidates, including identifying, researching and analyzing companies for possible acquisition; evaluating for strategic fit, conducting initial discussions with the appropriate BUs; gaining an understanding of the industry/external views and research related to acquisition candidate.
Explain complex and sensitive information to peer groups and executive leaders and work to build support and buy in from BUs, working collaboratively to select the best solution for Equifax.
Develop work plans for short-term assignments of moderate complexity, typically contained within own function. Consistently deliver projects on time and against key metrics while adhering to best practices within company guidelines.
Perform due diligence/integration support as needed to include project management and/or integration support for specific deals.
Partner with Corporate Development on the deal transaction process including coordination with internal and external resources.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred

years of related experience preferably within a consulting environment
Strong financial analysis skills; valuation experience is preferred
Knowledge of valuation techniques
Ability to efficiently and accurately interpret data, determine pertinent information and present findings to relevant stakeholders
Proven ability to conduct in-depth research on potential acquisition targets
Strong MS Office and project management skills
Ability to interact with and influence Senior Leadership TeamsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
