Established electronics manufacturer in Alpharetta, GA seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk in a fast paced multi-company environment. This fulltime position reports directly to the Controller.
RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES
:
Accounts Payable
Accurately assimilate supporting documents and review for accuracy.
Match receiving document with invoice and P.O.
Ensure proper authorization for all expenditures
Enter vendor invoice into A/P system for payment
Process check run bi-weekly for two companies
Reconcile all AMEX and VISA credit card transactions to G/L.
Prepare bi-weekly comments for A/P and other accounts for manager
Maintain Vendor files, prepare 1099s and any other tasks assigned by manager
Facilitate the monthly close by completing all tasks in a timely manner
Research and reconcile all discrepancies related to daily responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
:
Experience processing Accounts Payable and doing general accounting work.
Experience in SYSPRO ERP system preferred.
Detail oriented, accurate and organized in approach to work. Arrive on time.
Excellent Phone Communications Skills.
Strong Computer Skills.
Advanced Excel skills utilizing pivot tables, etc.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
