Position: Warehouse assistant/Delivery driver
Department: Warehouse
Territory: Southeastern United States (MD to LA to FL), located in Alpharetta, GA
The Warehouse Assistant/Delivery Driver in this role will utilize experience or expertise to solve problems and develop and execute objectives for self and others. This job is a service oriented position which requires both a willingness to help others and a high level of professionalism in the workplace. We are looking for a self-motivated and dedicated individual to execute short-term and long-term business goals.
Responsibilities:
Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations
Ability to navigate long vehicles and/or trailers
Maintain drivers log and pre-trip inspections
Responsible for general care and cleanliness of company vehicle (Smoking in vehicle prohibited)
Inspects material, checks for shortages, and rejects damaged goods
Ability to safely lift, load, and secure material/equipment
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Warehouse assistant (primary role)
Requirements:
1
year of experience in one or all of the following: Warehousing, Construction, Logistics
Ability to identify and implement process improvements and best practices
Ability to coordinate multiple priorities at one time
Strong analytical skills
Demonstrations oral and written communication skills
Must be willing to travel on short notice (overnight stays are rare but required)
