Job Description:
Foodbuy is the foodservice industry's leading Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) focused on lowering purchasing and product costs for foodservice organizations.
With offices in Charlotte, NC and Alpharetta, GA, we offer a Great Opportunity for career development and growth as a Member Services Analyst.
The Member Services Analyst will support the Manager of Opportunity/Cost Analysis.
The Member Services Analyst is responsible for preparing and presenting Market Basket analysis and making key recommendations to drive incremental value for all Customers and to further Customers' purchasing compliance goals.
This includes preparing and reviewing opportunity analysis, trend analysis; assist in the preparation of executive level reporting.
This role is responsible for adhering to established processes and standards that have been put in place.
The job is located in our offices in Alpharetta, GA.
Responsibilities:
Prepare Market Basket Analysis comparing competitive programs
Analyze Reporting and Compliance tools using Excel and MS Access
Understand aspects of Foodservice GPO's manufacturer and distributor contracts, review analysis on competitiveness of Foodbuy programs and recommend program changes to maintain competitiveness
Prepare key business analysis to assist functional leaders in decision-making processes.
Investigate trends and variances compared to prior periods and forecast
Ad hoc analysis and special projects to support continued growth of business
Prepare executive level summaries based on analysis
Qualifications:
Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Basic knowledge of CERES (or other rebate / contract management technology)
Bachelor's degree preferred; Finance, Supply Chain or related field of study preferred; significant related experience will be considered in lieu of formal educationFoodservice product knowledge preferred
Financial or trend analysis experience
Supplier and customer interaction experience
Purchasing/procurement experience preferred
Distribution or foodservice experience is preferred
Minimal travel required (typically to the Corporate office in Charlotte)
Excellent communication and customer relationship skills are required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
