Specific Knowledge/Skills
- 2
years of IT experience
- Proven experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript, Jquery, and PHP.
- Proven experience in XML, JSON, and other data interchange formats
- Familiar with using and creating various web APIs.
- Solid experience working with data visualization libraries such as Highcharts, Protovis, D3, Infovis, Sigma.js, Toxiclib.js, etc
- Expert knowledge of how to take raw data from SQL queries, text files, or other sources and generate compelling and useful visualizations
- Experience with MySQL and/or Postgres databases.
- Experience with Linux/UNIX.
- Developing compelling data visualizations from raw, uninteresting or complex data sets.
- Revamping our product interfaces by increasing the visual appeal of product features using your skills and insight.
- Designing and building product and website mockups that demonstrate how we can overhaul our offerings, and then taking those concepts to final products.
- Excellent written and verbal skills
