As Critical Systems Protection Manager within Verizon Business Investigative Response and Cyber Security, the candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Consultants experienced in Critical Infrastructure Assessments and Remedial Strategies across all DHS Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources (CIKR) Sectors. The scope of responsibility includes but is not limited to pre-sales and opportunity support, engagement management, project management, contracting, accountability, quality of service, customer satisfaction, and other facets relating to the engagement and investigative case load of a delivery team, in addition to the human resources functions related to the team.
The Critical Infrastructure Protection Manager position will be expected to serve as a specialty arm of the Investigative Response practice, conducting Critical Infrastructure Assessments, and supporting OT forensic analysis, data recovery, eDiscovery, and other IT and OT investigative work. Due to the inherent volatility of investigative response work, the candidate will be expected to discharge the various responsibilities assigned to their role while successfully managing a variable case load. The candidate will be responsible for integrity in analysis, quality in client deliverables, gathering case load assessment details and intelligence, as well as assisting in business development, sales, and marketing efforts.
This case load may consist of assessments, incident response, computer forensic, litigation support, remediation, and other customer-facing engagements around Critical Infrastructure, Traditional IT, and more specifically operational technology with emphasis on ICS, SCADA Networks, and automated and embedded security systems and solutions. As a manager, you must provide mentoring, support, and direction for direct reports while managing the delivery team's book of business driving sales & marketing opportunities, building the business, supporting the group's role as industry leader.
Qualifications
The candidate will be expected to possess advanced IT and OT technical experience, strong communication and presentation skills, and must be technically able to hit the ground running in most any industry sector, whether in the production or back office environment related to SCADA, industrial controls, critical systems protection, and critical infrastructure
Proficient knowledge of Industry Specific ICS, SCADA, and Operational Technologies, along with compliance and general assessment requirements surrounding the relevant industries is also necessary
An advanced understanding of Security Concerns and Threats specific to various OT by Sector is a must
The candidate must be comfortable and proficient from a technical perspective, but also able to communicate effectively with target audiences that include, but are not limited to, executive management (CEO, CFO, CIO, CSO, board of directors, etcEUR ) and production personnel
The candidate must be able to assist customers proactively in understanding the threat landscape as it relates to their industry, and assist in reactively responding rapidly and effectively to incidents while consistently exceeding expectations in a customer-facing setting
The capability to identify people, process, and technology concerns and vulnerabilities, not just in the technology, but also in the production environment and business process is essential
Proficiency in conducting live analysis on networks and across multiple platforms is desired
The candidate must possess the ability to articulate well in both written and oral communication
They must also be able to manage multiple projects on a daily basis
The successful candidate must be very detail-oriented and must be able to interact with other staff and customers effectively, in person or by phone
Critical thinking, problem solving and the ability to travel up to 50% of your time is vital
The candidate must also possess the appropriate travel documents and be free and willing to travel internationally, as required by our caseload
The candidate must also be media-trained and comfortable acting as an extension of the Verizon marketing/PR team when communicating with trade publications and major media/news outlets
In addition, the candidate is expected to continue producing researching studies, whitepapers, conference presentations and other outward-facing messaging on behalf of Verizon Investigative Response
The candidate is expected to maintain an understanding of the larger workings of Verizon and recognize and route pull through business opportunities within the company

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
