DUTIES: Drive technical relationships with key customer accounts, acting as the Technical Account Manager whilst focusing on business development opportunities. Provide technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations and installations, identification of the appropriate McAfee solutions for customers, and production of RFI responses and technical proposals across the complete line of McAfee products. Scope and potentially deliver technical services, including consultancy and education, for customers and partners. Develop full knowledge of McAfee products to ensure optimal technical support in pre-sales situations. Engage customer audience when presenting McAfee products & services. Demonstrate solutions through on-site customer presentations and evaluations. Produce technical documents and proposals. Develop strong relationships in key customer accounts. Update and deliver technical training to sales colleagues Provide support to Sales in meeting revenue targets, including assisting Sales reps in qualifying customers and developing sales plans and proposals tailored to each customers technological environment. Identify and begin developing relationships with key customers and partners for future trusted advisor. Assist in building a comprehensive training plan inclusive of MFE products, solutions and security industry certifications.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related technical field, and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a sales-engineering related occupation. Employer will accept education evaluation prepared by a qualified credential evaluation service.
Experience must include:
1. Presentation of networking security terminology to sales prospects;
2. Design and architecture of enterprise-grade firewalls;
3. Installation, configuration, and deployment of enterprise-grade NFGW solutions;
4. Delivery of technical trainings on network security;
5. Experience in integrating NGFW into other networking devices, including SIEM, IPS, and network infrastructure;
6. Responding to RFPs demonstrating NGFW capabilities.
Up to 20% travel may be required to various, unanticipated locations in the United States and/or abroad. May telecommute.
