POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
We are looking for Mechanical Engineer responsible for design and development of complex electromechanical systems and products. This position will specialize in the Pay at Pump payment integration projects as well as project management tasks related to release and support of those products.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Define and design of electro-mechanical systems, or subsystems
Knowledge and experience with Pro Engineer CAD software
Experience in the development of sheet metal and injection molded plastic components
Define and perform (or oversee) experimental testing on equipment and products
Manage the building and testing of prototype equipment and products
Development of part/product specifications, cost estimates and schedules for projects
Assists in the resolution of complex engineering problems
Act a liaison to vendors in the management of soliciting, receiving and managing quotes. Additionally, coordinate vendor management duties including; organizing information transfer (via drawings or IGES files), generation of purchase requisitions, component/product builds
Verification of empirical accuracy of the resulting model and presentation of results
Interface with marketing and sales in all divisions to ensure product compliance with market demands and accurate volume estimates
Ensure products are designed for manufacturability and conduct design reviews
Drive product enhancement and cost down initiatives
Ensure design documentation is accurately archived
Ensure that product quality is designed in and maintained

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3-5 years of related experience
Good oral and written communication skills
Show initiative to familiarize oneself with latest technology in mechanical product design and fabrication
Safety conscious and self-motivated person with demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines
Ability to work with team spirit as a member of the development team
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Master degree in Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge or experience with touchscreen, LCD, and PC technology
Prior POS and/or kiosk development experience
