GENERAL FUNCTION:
Under the direction of The Director of Quality Assurance, the Quality Assurance Monitor will assist in observing proprietary youth health-promotion programs developed by the YMCA of Metro Atlanta as assigned. The position performs quality assurance responsibilities in accordance with the mission, values, goals, objectives and policies established by the YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta. Emphasis is placed on role out of program, objective observation, consistent reporting and any other necessary duties to support compliance needs and the Empower Healthy Living Initiative.
Know How:
Minimum of Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university program with emphasis in the following areas: health, public health, nutrition, exercise science, physical education or related fields.
Knowledge of wellness area programming, aerobic programming, youth fitness programming and preschool physical activity programming through undergraduate or graduate field experience and/or work experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Power Point.
Current CPR/AED card.
Satisfactory completion of Bright from the Start criminal background check, State of Georgia criminal background check and drug test.
State of Georgia criminal background check and drug test.
Valid Georgia driver's license.
Reliable transportation to all assigned sites.

Essential Functions:
Participates in quality assurance observations of proprietary youth health-promotion programs developed by the YMCA of Metro Atlanta at a variety of Y-affiliated sites, including observation, training, demonstration, education, evaluation, and other activities as assigned.
Completes site visits, which may require travel 90% of scheduled time during academic year, to assess program delivery of standardized protocols.
Participates in programs' equipment and materials inventory control and distribution process, which may require travel to sites.
Attends continuing education events as appropriate and with the approval of supervisor and Metro YMCA Human Resources staff.
Attends program trainings, staff meetings and other meetings as assigned.
Assists supervisor in decision making processes regarding program development, implementation and evaluation.
Completes other duties as assigned with accuracy and timeliness.

The youth health-promotion programs will meet quality assurance goals and objectives in all areas of delivery and compliance requirements will be met. Reports shall be accurate and timely and training and mentoring will be consistent.
Ergonomic Requirements
Bending, stooping, squatting, standing, hopping, jumping, galloping, sliding, running, lifting up to 30 pounds, seeing, standing up to four hours, verbal communication, hearing, 20% keyboard input, some sitting, walking. Ability to teach and demonstrate program movement.
Hours: Part Time, Non-Exempt Hourly

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
