Assistant Controller

We want you to be a part of our workforce so we are looking for an Assistant Controller to lead our Accounting Department.
Assists the Controller in the timely and accurate preparation and submittal of monthly and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement & statement of cash flow in accordance with GAAP)
Preparation of annual Incurred Cost Submission in accordance with Cost Accounting Standards
Preparing and monitoring the annual Capital Plan
Makes recommendations on accounting matters, including revenue recognition methods on complex contracts
Performing monthly Net Realizable Value analysis to ensure assets are appropriately valued
Exercising judgment in recommending reserves or adjustments to the financial statements
Assists the Controller in ensuring the accounting practices remain in accordance with the Company's Disclosure Statement
Oversight and approval of accounting reconciliations
Performing variance analysis
Coaching, mentoring and training of accounting staff

Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a CPA with demonstrated technical accounting knowledge and specific experience working in job cost environment with contracts subject to multiple revenue recognition Contract Accounting.
This position also requires:
A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
Strong experience with Government Accounting & Compliance
Must have experience with FAR/CAS Compliance
10 years in Accounting, Finance of Government contracts.
CPA certification
