Outside Plant / Field Engineer II - Alpharetta, GA

The OSP Design Engineer / NDS Eng Assoc II is responsible for learning and understanding planning, engineering and implementation activities that are with network specific, premise specific, customer specific or a combination of all. Learn to use engineering systems and databases in order to assist engineering.
Person will be required to use systems not limited to Fireworks, BidMaster, AutoCAD, NBIE, NDS, OSPFM, JDS and WFMT. May have minimal knowledge of network principles, technologies, and work on problems of limited scope. Will follow the standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data. Responsibilities will include basic engineering functions including pricing, designing, pole transfers, terminal increase, bridge tap removal, addressing, augments along with working on FTTT, FTTP, CAF, GPON, Ethernet, drafting and re-issue or prints. Will work under normal supervision.

Associates or Bachelor's Degree or related experience a plus.

Looking for someone with experience in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Power Point.
Advanced computer skills or CADD or drafting experience a plus.
NDS design experience a PLUS.
