Project Manager

Job Overview: The Project Manager is an Agile-savvy and technically-strong Project Manager responsible for MACYS Inc / Bloomingdales Supply Chain management strategic programs. The Project Manager will own and manage the planning, execution and delivery of the Agile development lifecycle, using and promoting an iterative framework. The Project Manager is part of a team-oriented, technical organization and is an excellent communicator who can partner with producers, developers, operations, QA and product/program and domain management to ensure successful execution of their projects . Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Functions: Take ownership of multiple, complex projects including all project-related activities, execution and final delivery. Create/manage the project road map and plan, make necessary iterative changes and effectively communicate status updates and issues to the project team, PMO and domain management. Remove blockers and escalate issues and risks with an appropriate sense of urgency. Use existing standards and processes throughout the life cycle of the project. Drive the change management process. Facilitate planning, communication and negotiation within the team. Act as Iteration Manager, managing and administrating the iteration lifecycle, backlog and story cards in VersionOne. Ensure project audit controls and closeout activities are completed. On-board and coach other project managers in process, issue resolution and audit controls. Actively learn, exploring areas and skills that will help Macy's continue to grow and innovate. Conduct post-implementation reviews and communicate "lessons learned" to appropriate groups. Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality. Qualifications : Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering and/or related field or equivalent work experience. 5+ years managing enterprise-level software development projects from initiation through completion; ecommerce initiatives preferred. 2+ years of experience managing and delivering Warehouse, Distribution and Transportation Business Capabilities/ Product features using Agile (Scrum, XP, lean, etc.) is preferred Experience managing and delivery of Products using JDA, Manhattan, Stibo, SAP Packages is a plus. Thorough knowledge of the software development lifecycle, QA and test methodologies and processes, and experience with one (or more) products through all phases of the software development life cycle. Communication Skills: Strong written & verbal presentation & communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical issues and solutions to all levels of business. Ability to effectively share technical information. Ability to listen with objectivity, concentration, attention, questioning, and clarifying as needed to ensure you understand the message of the speaker and be able respond to it. Mathematical Skills: Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and analytical skills. Reasoning Ability: Ability to accurately distinguish which issues, dependencies, and risks are critical. Demonstrate flexibility when prioritizing related issues. Identify, develop, negotiate, and optimize solutions with the Team, internal and external consultant. Physical Demands: This position involves regular walking, standing, sitting for extended periods of time, hearing, and talking. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching. May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment, and viewing computer monitor for extended periods of time. Involves manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment. May involve moving or lifting items under 10 pounds. Other Skills: Technical experience in retail supply chain management Applications/systems is a strong plus. PMI or CSM certification preferred. Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and consensus-building skills. Work Hours: Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
